Spring flowers!

Finalmente la Primavera è uscita allo scoperto e, malgrado il vento non si sia ancora stufato di soffiare, il weekend appena trascorso ci ha regalato meravigliosi caldi raggi di sole.

Non so voi, ma in questa stagione sono sempre alla ricerca di fiori da fotografare; sono un'amante dei fiori in generale, ne conservo a casa una quantità industriale di ogni dimensione e colore. Pensate che una stanza della mia casa è stata addirittura nominata "la stanza delle rose", e non è certo difficile capire il perchè una volta entrati. 

Oggi ho realizzato questo piccolo porta oggetti con alcuni dei fiori finti di cui vi ho appena parlato!

Spring has finally arrived, and although the wind has not yet tired of blowing, the weekend has given us wonderful warm rays of sunshine.
Do not know about you, but this season I'm always looking for flowers to photograph, I'm a lover of flowers in general, I keep at home an industrial quantity of it of each size and color. Do you think that I have a room in my house was even named "the room of roses", and it's not hard to know why once you enter.
Today I made this little decorated box with some flowers which I have just spoken!

Occorrente / Necessary:

• scatola grezza in legno / Box raw wood
• tessuto con fantasia a piacimento / woven
• passamaneria / trimmings
• fiori finti / fake flowers
• colla a caldo / hot glue
• forbici / sciccors
• pennello / brush
• vinavil / vinavil glue
• matita / pencil

Cominciamo tagliando su misura la striscia di stoffa del primo lato della scatola; con il Vinavil la incolliamo cercando di non lasciare bolle d'aria stendendo la stoffa, poi continuiamo con il resto dei lati.

We begin to tailor the fabric strip of the first side of the box; with the Vinavil  glue stretching the fabric, then continue with the rest of the sides.

 

Come vedete, per evitare di lasciare scoperti gli angoli, ho incollato un cm in più di stoffa sui lati che quindi continua sul fondo; poi ho tagliato un rettangolo perfetto e ho coperto l'intero fondo.
A questo punto incolliamo la passamaneria con la colla a caldo in tutto il bordo della scatola, tagliando delle striscioline lunghe quanto i singoli lati.

As you see, to avoid leaving uncovered the corners, I glued an inch more of cloth on the sides which then continues to the bottom, then I cut a perfect rectangle, and I covered the entire bottom.

Now we paste the trimmings with the hot glue around the edge of the box, cutting of thestrips long as the individual sides.

Ed ora è il momento di sbizzarrirsi con coloratissimi fiori da applicare su tutto il bordo della scatola rimasto vuoto!

And now it's time to indulge themselves with colorful flowers to be applied across the edge of the box!

Ed ecco pronto il nostro porta oggetti, che potrete mettere al centro delle vostre tavole per una freschissima cenetta di primavera!

And that's it, you can put it at the middle of your table for a wonderful spring dinner!
