Vi è mai capitato di trascorrere intere ore dentro ad un negozio che ha la magia di ipnotizzare piacevolmente chiunque entri? E' quello che mi è capitato poche settimane fa a Londra! Lush si trova a Covent Garden e il profumo che sprigiona questo posto è percepibile già dall'entrata del grande mercato! Tutti i prodotti che troverete all'interno sono realizzati a mano: i saponi sono mescolati in grandi pentoloni e la cosa divertente è che vengono tagliati direttamente in negozio, in base alla quantità e alla forma desiderata dai clienti. Ogni prodotto quindi resterà sempre unico!
Fresh, fun, scented, revolutionary, positive, original. In a word? LUSH!
Have you ever had to spend some hours in a store that has the power to hypnotize anyone coming in? It's happened to me in London in Lush Shop! It's located in Covent Garden and the smell that emanates this place is already perceptible at the market entry. All the products you find inside are handmade: soaps are mixed in large cauldrons and the funny thing is that they are cut in-store, based on the amount and form required by customers. Each product therefore will always be unique!
Lush non ama alcun tipo di conservante, infatti la maggior parte dei prodotti sono senza conservanti; proprio per questo, quando finiscono nelle vostre mani, i prodotti Lush hanno poche settimane di vita, in alcuni casi pochi giorni. Inoltre spesso troverete nelle confezioni, oltre alla data di fabbricazione e di scadenza, anche una simpatica caricatura di chi ha realizzato quel prodotto. Non è grandioso?

Lush si diverte a creare prodotti di forme originali, per esempio queste specie di macarons sono in realtà profumatissimi Shampoo; pensate che un solo "macaron" corrisponde a 3 bottigliette di shampoo normale e che con uno di questi arriverete a fare 80 lavaggi... incredibile!

IL PACKAGING DI LUSH:
Anche per quanto riguarda il packaging Lush utilizza il più possibile materiali ecologici e sostenibili; si utilizza quindi cartone riciclato, nastri di carta, stoffa, plastica riciclata. Le bottiglie e i barattoli delle creme sono fatte a Nottingham (UK), dove c'è un grande centro di raccolta in cui la vecchia plastica viene scelta, lavata, tritata e poi preparata per essere nuovamente fusa. Chi restituisce al negozio un barattolo vuoto avrà in omaggio un prodotto Lush!
